The newest iScreaM release features SEULGI.

SEULGI has released iScreaM Vol 22: 28 Reasons / Los Angeles, featuring remixes of two tracks taken from her debut solo EP, 28 Reasons. The project features remixes of ‘28 Reasons’ by CIFIKA and LOOZBONE, and b-side ‘Los Angeles‘ by Moksi. The singer has also released music videos for ‘28 Reasons (CIFIKA Remix)’ and ‘Los Angeles (Moksi Remix)’.

SEULGI’s 28 Reasons is an alluring and intriguing EP and she made a solo debut with a remarkable EP that focuses on dialing up to the max SEULGI skills, strong vocals and amazing dance performances.

For iScreaM Vol 22: 28 Reasons / Los Angeles, SEULGI has enlisted top producers. Korean-born electronic pop artist and producer CIFIKA has been making waves on the global stage, earning praise from Dazed Korea and i-D for her experimental approach. She has collaborated with Romy (The xx), CRUSH and HYUKOH. CIFIKA translates SEULGI’s ‘28 Reasons’ into a progressive tech house cut, enhancing the song’s contrasting theme by looping the lyrics of ‘sweet and bitter’ as it builds into a richer soundscape with stacked techno beats. In the second half of the track, CIFIKA’s vocals gradually appear and blend with SEULGI’s vocals to bring listeners a new auditory experience.

Internationally-renowned Dutch producer and DJ duo Moksi have collaborated with DJ Snake, Yellow Claw and Hardwell. They reimagined SEULGI’s ‘Los Angeles’ as a bright and dreamy rhythmic house track, bringing a completely different perspective to the original track. The track features SEULGI’s vocals re-edited to sound like a new instrument, paired alongside melodic synthesisers.

Producer and DJ LOOZBONE reinvents ‘28 Reasons‘ as a house rhythm track with heavy bass to emphasise the song’s overall tension.

Elsewhere, Red Velvet recently announced their first headline concert since 2019. The “Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V” is taking place in Seoul on 1 and 2 April. The group have also been confirmed to perform at Primavera Sound 2023 in Barcelona on 1 June and Madrid on 8 June.
