5 acts touring the UK in December you’re really going to want to see including Ne-Yo

As you may or may not know, I’m quite partial to a concert here and there. I’m constantly looking for ones to go to. There’s loads of artists who have already announced their tours for 2017, in fact – I’ve already bought my ticket to see Craig David in March next year! So, when I saw that Ne-Yo was touring and in December too – naturally I got excited.

December is probably one of my favourite months because of Christmas , obviously! You’re never too old to get excited by Christmas, I don’t care what anyone says. Christmas = presents, so if anyone wants to buy me anything, you won’t go far wrong with a concert ticket. It’s been three years since he’s toured the UK, so understandably us Ne-Yo fans have been feeling a bit neglected, am I right?

Even though his first album came out in 2006, it wasn’t until 2008 I became a fan. I always remember buying the album when I was on holiday and couldn’t wait to get home to play it. That was back in the day before I’d bought my first iPod – how old school of me. With epic tracks like ‘Closer’ and ‘Miss Independent’ (that was my jam), how could anyone not love him? He’s released so many great tracks over the years and has even won Grammy’s for them! After he released his album ‘Non-Fiction’ back in January, I was half expecting a tour to shortly follow. 11 months later, it looks like we’ll all get to finally hear him singing tracks from this epic album. Better late than never eh?

I was curious to see where else he would be touring after visiting us here. After trying to look for other dates I couldn’t find anything. Does this mean the UK has his full divided attention? I hope so! He kicks off the tour late November in Norfolk and finishes at the O2 Academy in Brixton on December 16th. If you’ve not got your tickets yet, what are you waiting for?

If you’re looking for even more artists to see this December, I had a look to see who else will be touring.  There’s plenty to choose from..

The 1975

The band kick off the start of their tour on Dec 13th in Manchester and finish in Cardiff on Dec 22nd. I can’t believe how close to Christmas they’re touring, but at least they’ll have a couple of days rest before their festivities begin. I hope they’ll have done their Christmas shopping early! Understandably, this tour is incredibly popular, so tickets are very limited. It looks as though the only ones you can get are from people who are re-selling, so I’m gutted I wasn’t quick enough to buy any. If you’ve got the cash to spend or have tickets already – I envy you. I reckon this tour is going to be AMAZING.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers

After headlining both Reading and Leeds festival earlier this year, the band announced they would be having their very own UK tour in December. Starting their tour on December 5th at the O2 Arena London and finishing their UK leg of the tour on the 21st of December, this is going to be pretty special. If you’re lucky you can get tickets here.

Travis

Anyone remember them? It looks like it’s going to be a pretty short tour as they only have 4 dates showing. Their first show is at the O2 Academy in Liverpool on the 19th December and their last date is on the 21st December at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow (with 2 dates in Sheffield in-between). I’m hoping they’ll come a bit closer to where I live next year, as I wouldn’t mind seeing them ‘siiiing sing sing’ live. If you live nearer these areas and fancy seeing the Scottish band, you can buy your tickets here.

Korn and Limp Bizkit

If you’re looking for some nineties nu-metal nostalgia, you’re definitely going to want to rock out on this tour. What’s better still is the fact that the two have combined forces for one massive rock-fest. Starting their tour on December 12th at the Manchester Arena and finishing on the 19th in Nottingham, you’re not going to want to miss this. Buy your tickets here.

Are you going to any of these tours? I’ll have to grab my Ne-Yo tickets before that sells out. Let me know if you plan on going to any of these.
