As she approaches twenty years in the music industry, the Queen of Pop Britney Spears is set to release her ninth studio album ‘Glory’ on August 26th. The album comes after the release of her latest single ‘Make Me… (feat. G-Eazy)’ which since its release several weeks ago has stormed the charts globally.

The album announcement comes with the exclusive grat of ‘Private Show’ which has been recently heavily teased as it’s used on the advert for her new fragrance of the same name.

When the album was announced, Britney tweeted “#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era.” A new era for Britney has been interlinked by her fans to her recent revival during her Piece of Me shows where lately she has begun to flourish with both dance routines and stage presence.

Not much about the album has been revealed however G-Eazy who collaborated on “Make Me…” recently spoke about the process. “I was actually on tour in Australia. After the first leg in the U.S. and we got that email that was like, ‘Britney Spears wants to do a song.’ I didn’t know if it was gonna be the single or what,” the rapper said. “It was just a no-brainer. I think we were in Melbourne, and I was like, ‘Yo, let’s see if there are any studios open here.’ And literally after the show we went and cut it on the spot. That kind of thing you just drop whatever you’re doing to do.”

Next month Britney will be headlining her first festival in years. This combined with the new album release, and her Piece of Me shows, she has a streak of good luck under her belt which holds out hope that the new album will be of the highest quality. Especially after many fans have spoke out of how 2013’s ‘Britney Jean’ was a let down.

Britney will release ‘Glory’ on August 26th as an Apple Music exclusive. It is now available for pre-order.
