‘Ibiza Weekender’ is coming back with a bang

We can’t seem to get enough of reality TV that features millennials in the sun, and drinking themselves into silly shenanigans. From ‘Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents’ to ‘Love Island’, it’s everywhere. But the news on everyone’s lips is the confirmed return of ‘Ibiza Weekender’. The show will return for an extended sixth series, with 10 one hour long episodes.(But it won’t air until 2017. 😟)

Twofour and GroupM Entertainment’s Weekender brand, has already spanned five successful series. The show will focus on the comings and goings at a single hotel. From check-in to check out, the series also follows holiday makers as the revel in the sun and look for a good time.

There will be fixed rig cameras at the hotel, so nothing will stay secret for long. Set in Europe’s biggest party island, expect nothing less than drunk nights, and lots of drama. Would you really expect anything else from Brits abroad? We think not.

Satmohan Panesar, ITV Commissioning Executive, said: “For young Brits looking for a holiday abroad, you can’t beat Ibiza, and for ITV2 viewers looking for a show packed full of fun, laughs and cheeky drama you can’t beat Ibiza Weekender.”

We can’t wait to see what unfolds for the next batch of weekenders in 2017.
