Halloween cocktails that are easy to make

0

Hopefully, you haven’t all been scarred for life after that post I did about awful Halloween costumes . This article is a lot nicer I promise. As I mentioned in that article, every year I go to my friends house for Halloween. Usually, I take some Halloween related food that I pick up at the local supermarket. Mainly because I am too lazy to make anything, and also – I am not a very good cook.

Over the years I’ve picked up numerous Halloween decorations that have contributed to the overall decoration of her house, and all these additions have been gratefully received. Although, I am running out of things to get now. There’s only so many plastic skulls and rubber bats anybody can take. My friend is obsessed with Halloween, it’s her favourite time of the year – and yes, she loves it more than Christmas! So I like to get her Halloween related gifts, she appreciates it more I think. When I saw these glasses online I was thinking ‘OMG I have to get her these’.

I’ve never seen anything quite like them before, and they’re definitely a different kind of gift that I could buy for her. Not only does she love Halloween but she loves books too – a perfect combo!

At $13 each (which is just over £10) , they include the title , author and opening lines from each of the novels. The company who sell these awesome glasses have a whole range of literature glassware to choose from. I’d better get saving before I have a proper look or I’ll end up spending a fortune on these things. Check out the rest of the collection on their website.

As great as these glasses look, I’m going to need to put something into them. Alcoholic of course, do you even know me? Although I do like drinking wine, these rocks glasses are more suited for things like cocktails. Who doesn’t love a cocktail? This got me thinking , I can’t cook so maybe I could make some cocktails to put in the glasses. Great idea right? I had a look and found loads, some looked absolutely disgusting. Here’s the ones I found that look and sound the nicest
