Since he left One Direction on that fateful day on March 25th 2015, Mr Zayn Malik has blessed our ears and our eyes with his endless talent. You better get ready to see a hell of a lot more of this Bradford beauty because he’s only gone and been snapped up by world famous designer Donatella Versace. As if we all weren’t excited enough when he recently revealed he has written his very own book, it’s been reported that he will be designing a collection of both men’s and women’s clothing and I cannot wait to see the results. So now we’ll all get to wear a bit of Zayn on our bodies, how amazing is that? Taking to his Instagram, Zayn uploaded a photo of both him and the designer to announce the news.

I wonder whether this is something that Zayn has always wanted to do, or whether his model girlfriend Gigi steered him in the general direction. The collection is due to debut in Spring 2017 and will be available to buy in May 2017 both online and in stores.
Zayn’s sense of style is undeniably very distinct and I have seen so many people trying to copy and emulate it. What better way to pull off his look to a tee with clothes that have been specifically designed by the man himself? I’m really interested to see what sort of things he will style for women, will they be female versions of his male style or something completely different? I am hoping it’ll all come from his vision and not something that will be Gigi inspired. Although, I’m pretty sure she will have some sort of involvement and feedback to give him during the design process.
Speaking about teaming up with the brand, Zayn said “There’s no brand I’d rather design for than Versus. The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we’ll create something amazing”. What makes this even more perfect is that Zayn will be modeling his designs (*tries not to hyperventilate*). Let’s face it, there’s nobody else that could have shown off the designs better than Zayn himself. The guy was born to model, wasn’t he? But does that mean he will enlist his model girlfriend Gigi to model the women’s range? Seems an obvious choice really especially as she has worked closely with Versace.

As the weather’s getting colder we’re in need of a nice warm stylish jacket. I have never seen a guy look so hot in a leather jacket and to be honest HATED leather jackets until I saw him wearing them. Of course, I’d expect to see something a bit different than just a plain black design without something added to it. Perhaps some cool spikes or weird zips please.
Cool vests
Again, I reckon he could use his amazing art skills and come up with colourful cartoon designs and put them on some vest tops. Perfect for summer don’t you think? Yeah…I’m planning ahead!
Denim
I don’t own anything denim other than jeans, so maybe I could branch out and get a denim shirt or something? Rocking the double denim like the good old days of B*Witched, but so much better.
