Watch: Fifth Harmony are now country artists?

Fifth Harmony’s sophomore studio album ‘7/27’ is still in heavy rotation around the globe with its mature pop beats, but now it seems that the girl group—formed on the US edition of The X Factor—have now turned to country music, and it’s oddly incredible.

The girls performed at the CMT Awards alongside country artist Cam and, whilst the change in genre may come as a surprise to many, band member Camila Cabello explained that, actually, genres aren’t a big deal for them.

“I think that [Cam]’s incredible and she is such a talented country artist. I think that we’re all women in music, you know, genres aren’t really a barrier for us. So it’s amazing that we can come together and be here, and it’s an honour to be here,” she told E! News.
