Premiere: James Sayer’s ‘Sweet Baby Jane’

James Sayer is a singer-songwriter from Birmingham, UK that has been likened to music greats such as Elton John, Billy Joel and Jools Holland. Now, with the release of his new song ‘Sweet Baby Jane’, he is ready to take on the industry.

James has aforementioned hails from Birmingham, however in 2012 moved to London where has he been gigging and working as a session musician. After meeting American producer Alan Glass, (known for Mis-Teeq) James started working on some original work. By 2015, James had an album worth of demo’s recorded and they were passed on to 5-time grammy award winner Michael McDonald.

Later that year James released his debut single titled ‘Taking Back My Love’ which showcased James’ musicianship and artistry. He later uploaded the song to BBC Introducing and later got labelled ‘Track of the Week’ by numerous radio stations.

Now with the follow up ‘Sweet Baby Jane’ James is showcasing himself at his best, with vintage sounds, a jazz-like vibe all revolved around a good old pop sound.
