Following the horrific incidents at Manchester Arena on Monday 22nd which left 22 fatalities and over 50 injured, Ariana Grande has bravely decided to return to the city on 4th June along with a star-studded line up to perform a benefit concert, ‘One Love Manchester’, at Emirates Old Trafford.

What time is One Love Manchester?

The four-hour coverage will start at 6:30pm, with the show beginning at 6:55pm and expected to finish around 10pm GMT.

The BBC One coverage will be presented by Sara Cox and Ore Oduba, with Nick Grimshaw and Anita Rani hosting from backstage and in the crowd.

BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Manchester will join together to simulcast a programme hosted by Scott Mills, Jo Whiley, Phil Williams and Becky Want live from within Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground. You can catch the four presenters, along with guests, as they provide all the context and build-up before the concert starts. How can I watch One Love Manchester?

While tickets for the benefit show are sold out, it’ll be available to view around the world, with coverage in the UK being on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, alongside radio coverage on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 live, BBC World Service and BBC Radio Manchester. Coverage in the US will air live on Freeform starting at around 2pm ET on Sunday, followed by a one-hour highlights show will air on ABC after the NBA Finals game. The show will also stream live on Ariana Grande’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, making it available worldwide. Who will be performing?

Along with the confirmed lineup, there’s said to be surprise appearances planned, with The Independent speculating a potential Oasis reunion. The benefit concert has been taken seriously by the world of music, with Simon Cowell even moving the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final to a day early so it will not conflict with the timing of the concert airing.

“The One Love Manchester concert on Sunday will be a very special occasion that resonates throughout Manchester, around the UK and across the globe,” said Bon Shannon, BBC director of radio and music. “BBC Music will unite radio services with BBC One to offer the best possible coverage of this unique national event.”

Can I donate to the cause from outside of the UK?

Absolutely! As well as the JustGiving link, Facebook Live will be streaming the concert live from Manchester on Ariana Grande’s Facebook page (from 7pm – 10pm British Summer Time, 2pm – 5pm, Eastern Daylight Time 11am – 2pm Pacific Daylight Time). YouTube Live will also be streaming the concert from Ariana Grande’s YouTube profile at the same time.

Fans watching Facebook Live in the United States will be able to donate using Facebook’s “Donate” button. YouTube viewers will be able to click through to donate to the British Red Cross. Currently, Facebook’s charitable giving tools are only available to U.S. 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations. Therefore, the producers of the One Love Manchester benefit have joined forces with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to form the One Love Manchester Fund. Donations to this account are tax-deductible (as provided by law) in the United States only.

U.S. donations will be directed to the One Love Manchester Fund and any additional funds raised will also benefit charities that support victims of terror worldwide.
