It’s been quite a month. Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’, Harry Styles’ album, secret gig, Late Late Show takeover and radio interviews… well, if that wasn’t enough to make you and your bank account go into complete meltdown. Liam Payne’s just joined the party.
‘Strip That Down’ is the long awaited debut single from Liam. The track, which was co-written by Liam, Ed Sheeran (surprise, surprise) and Steve Mac also features Migos rap sensation, Quavo.
Speaking about the new track, Liam said, “I’ve been working hard in the studio for over a year and I’m really excited to share this new music with my amazing fans. I’ve come a long way since our One Direction debut and I hope everyone likes my new sound as much as I do. 2017 has been a big year for me already and I’m looking forward to what the rest of it will bring.”
Liam recently revealed that Harry’s music, ‘wouldn’t be something he’d listen to’ in a chat to Music Choice. That’s one of the great things about the One Direction boys going solo, though. We’ve got Louis taking the EDM world by storm, Niall’s singer-songwriter route, Harry’s Bowie-esque rock album and Liam’s hip-hop influences. Let’s be thankful they’re all making music again and doing what they love.
‘Strip That Down’ is available to download, now.
