Austin Mahone’s featuring tracks just keep getting better

In 2010, I remember watching some of Justin Bieber‘s videos when I saw on the right-hand side of the screen, the video that was “up next.”

At the time I hadn’t heard of Austin Mahone. His floppy Bieber-esque hair had me intrigued, and then I heard his voice. Ironically, the track that was “up next” was a Justin Bieber cover, and for a moment, I actually thought he sang it better than Bieber himself.

From that moment on, I couldn’t stop watching his videos and knew that it was only a matter of time until he propelled to stardom (very much like Bieber did). Fast forward seven years and my prediction wasn’t far wrong. Austin has soared! Four albums later, he keeps releasing bigger and better music.

Not only that, but he’s featured with some pretty top artists. Last week, he posted his latest offering to his Vevo account: this track entitled ‘Creatures Of The Night’.

I don’t know about you, but I think this track is going to be on a lot of summer playlists, and I wouldn’t mind betting it’ll be played in a few clubs, too. Hardwell, who is on the track with Austin, is a Dutch big room house and electro DJ, record producer and mixer – so I’m pretty certain there’ll be a remixed version of this pretty soon. Over the years, Austin has had numerous features on his tracks – and I decided to have a look at some of them.

2013

From first uploading videos on YouTube in 2010 to having a track featuring one of the biggest American rappers on the planet three years later, it’s clear to see Austin was heading places. This is his first track he had a featuring artist on and was one of the few tracks released on his debut EP ‘Extended Play’.

2014

One year later, another huge rapper Mr. Worldwide himself (Pitbull) featured on this catchy track. This was Austin’s second featured track which subsequently featured on his second EP, ‘The Secret’.

2015

At the end of 2015, Austin released ‘This Is Not The Album’ which had 19 tracks on it, the most amount of tracks on one disk since his first release in 2013. On this “album,” Austin had some pretty awesome featuring tracks. It was difficult to pick just one, but this track with his ex Becky G is probably one of my faves.

2016

Not long after splitting up from Becky G, who remembers this song with this video? Austin getting steamy featuring Sage the Gemini!

2017

Austin has pretty much come around (almost) full circle by teaming up with Pitbull again on this old school classic ‘Lady’ and put his own spin on it.

Which artist would you love to see Austin feature with? Let us know!
