Ariana Grande and her team got matching bee tattoos in honour of the Manchester Attacks

Ever since the horrific events at Manchester, Ariana Grande has gone above and beyond for the victims. From donating over $1 million to the emergency fund to hosting ‘One Love Manchester’ which raised over £9 million, she’s truly done so much. But the American songbird hasn’t finished just yet.

The Sun has reported that Ariana and her team got bee tattoos following the concert backstage by Manchester Ink as a tribute to the city and the victims of the terror attack. We’ve yet to see any photos around, so it’s not officially confirmed, but knowing Ari’s heart of gold that’s bigger than her love for life itself, we wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if this is true.

Ari wasn’t the only one to get a permanent tribute, though, as other Manchester tattoo artists – and artists around the UK – helped launch the Manchester Tattoo fundraiser in order to raise money for the families of victims, with bee tattoos costing £50. Hundreds of people have already participated.

The bee symbolises Manchester’s industrial past and has been representative of Manchester since the Industrial Revolution. Not only does it illustrate the city’s hard-working past, it also represents the textile mills that were often described as ‘hives of activity.’

If you’d still like to do something but not feeling the idea of getting a tattoo, Ari will be donating a portion of each sale from her single ‘One Last Time’ – the song she sang moments before the attack – to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in coordination with the British Red Cross.
