Saint Patrick’s Day is sort of a huge deal in Boston. And Steve Aoki is definitely a huge deal worldwide. Put the two together, and you’ve got an absolutely epic way to spend a Friday night.

Steve Aoki’s latest remix of Kenji Kawai’s ‘Utai IV Reawakening’ was On Our Radar last week and inspired by the new ‘Ghost in the Shell’ movie. “This is a big day for me, especially for teenage youth me when I first watched the anime ‘Ghost In The Shell’ that planted the seeds for my imagination and obsession for Sci-fi android life AI singularity and later the blueprints towards my Neon Future ideology,” Steve shared on Facebook.

Steve performed back-to-back shows last month in the Boston area, starting at the Worcester Palladium and finishing the night at Dusk 2 Dawn in Providence. After that, he went basically everywhere—Hawaii, Columbia, Thailand, Myanmar, North Carolina—before ending up right back in Massachusetts.

If you’re not convinced that Steve’s show is the place to be in Boston for Saint Patrick’s Day this Friday, perhaps these photos of him partying with Gronk in Miami will seal the deal.
